Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain makes lifting, reaching, sleeping, or exercising painful and limits daily life. The shoulder is very mobile, so it relies on general good posture, balanced muscles, and coordination with the neck and upper back. Pain can start suddenly after an injury or come on slowly from repeated strain, like long hours sitting at a desk.

Shoulder pain can present in different ways.

Symptoms might include

  • Weakness in the shoulder or arm

  • Sharp or aching pain during activity
