Dr Lois Phillips

Doctor of Chiropractic
Associate Chiropractor

  • Master of Chiropractic, Health Sciences University (formerly AECC)

Lois graduated with a Master of Chiropractic from Health Sciences University (formerly AECC), with a strong focus on musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation and sports injuries.

Her passion for chiropractic stems from a lifelong interest in anatomy, human biology and sport. She has always been fascinated by how the body moves, performs and recovers, and chiropractic allows her to combine these interests with a genuine desire to help people feel and function better. Throughout her training she particularly valued developing hands-on clinical skills and learning how manual therapy and rehabilitation work together to support recovery and long-term movement.

My Approach to Chiropractic Care

Lois takes an evidence-informed, hands-on approach to chiropractic treatment, combining skilled manual therapy with tailored rehabilitation and exercise. She believes every patient is unique, so she takes time to understand individual symptoms, lifestyle and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all method.

Her aim is to help patients not only feel better but also understand their symptoms and gain confidence in managing their recovery. Whether the goal is returning to sport, getting back to exercise or simply moving more comfortably in everyday life, she works collaboratively to create a treatment plan that fits each person’s needs.

Conditions and areas she particularly enjoys treating include:

  • Low back pain

  • Shoulder pain and injuries

  • Sacroiliac joint dysfunction

  • Sports-related injuries

  • General musculoskeletal pain and stiffness

She has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation and enjoys supporting active individuals as they return to the activities they love.

Sport & Interest in Movement

Sport has always been a significant part of Lois’s life and has strongly shaped her interest in chiropractic. She has played golf since the age of 12 and previously competed at county level. This early involvement gave her a real appreciation of the physical demands placed on the body and how frustrating injury can be when it stops someone doing what they love.

This personal experience fuels her focus on sports-related rehabilitation and injury prevention. She particularly enjoys helping people rebuild confidence in their movement and return to sport or activity safely.

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of chiropractic, Lois enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach, walking and being with friends and family. She also follows a wide range of sports and stays active whenever possible.

Having recently graduated, she is committed to ongoing professional development so she can continue refining her clinical skills and knowledge. She looks forward to building strong, trusting relationships with patients and creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable, listened to and confident in their care.
